When I was encouraged by my lovely wife Veronica to start this up, I immediately got to thinking... What can I name the run club that will be catchy, be an ode to the city we live in and host the run in, and have something to do with running? So I started thinking of words synonymous with run, running, then it hit me, sprinting, and being the city we meet at, and run in is Coral Springs, FL. It was all there, Coral Sprints Run Club was born.

This was also going to be a break or make decision. The location for the run club to meet was and still is super important! It needed to check everything I wanted on the list.
One spot kept on coming to my mind... If you've ever lived or visited Coral Springs, FL you've been to or heard of the shopping plaza "The Walk."
That was the spot that ticked all the boxes for a successful location.

With 2 weeks of posting on Facebook groups, creating the Instagram, promoting it on our social media, friends and family played a huge role! We did not know what to expect. One thing was for certain, we were going to have at least 10 friends or family members join us in the inaugural run. The day came, May 28th, 2025 and as the meet up time came, one person here, a couple there, a family rolling in with strollers. Before we knew it we had 29 adults and a few kids and we were THRILLED!

Today, we meet VERY close to the walk and still run through it! But, we meet at the newest resort style luxury living in downtown Coral Springs called Modera. They welcomed us with the opening of their second tower opening up. It is located in the most transited intersection in Coral Springs and right next to city hall to offer us a premium on visibility which leads to more growth. With the retail spaces opening up on the ground floor. We have already partnered with some of the businesses there on bigger events which brings out a bigger than usual crowd.
